We do not collect sensitive personal data (health status, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual preference, etc.) unless voluntarily provided by you for reasons related to your stay, in which case your express written consent will be requested in accordance with Article 8 of the LFPDPPP 2025.

PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING

Primary Purposes — legal/contractual basis (no additional consent required, Art. 9 LFPDPPP 2025):

Process and confirm reservations and payments

Manage guest registration (check-in and check-out) in accordance with NOM-010-TUR-2001

Provide lodging and guest services during your stay

Issue invoices and tax receipts

Comply with legal obligations before migration, tax, and tourism authorities

Ensure the safety of guests, staff, and facilities

Enforce Civil Liability Insurance when required (NOM-07-TUR-2002)

Address complaints, inquiries, or requests

Secondary Purposes — require your express consent (optional):

Send communications about promotions, special offers, and hotel updates

Request reviews or satisfaction surveys

Conduct internal statistical analysis to improve service quality

You may limit or revoke consent for secondary purposes by emailing info@hotelcasacolibri.com, indicating your name and the purpose you wish to withdraw from.

PUBLIC REGISTRY TO AVOID ADVERTISING (REPEP)

If you do not wish to receive advertising from us, you may register your phone number with the Public Registry to Avoid Advertising (REPEP), administered by PROFECO. Once registered, we are required to refrain from contacting you for advertising purposes.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Your data may only be shared with:

Competent authorities: when required by law (migration, tax, public security, tourism). No consent required.

Service providers: payment processors or booking platforms, under strict confidentiality obligations

Tourism partners: when your reservation includes additional services expressly requested by you

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE

Common areas and hallways are monitored by security cameras. Recordings are stored for a maximum of 7 days and are accessible only to authorized personnel or authorities when required. Cameras are not installed in rooms or private areas.

DATA RETENTION

Tax and accounting data: 5 years (per Federal Tax Code)

Guest data: as required by the General Tourism Law

Payment data: up to 18 months for dispute resolution

Video recordings: maximum 7 days

After these periods, data will be securely deleted or anonymized.

SECURITY MEASURES

We implement technical, physical, and administrative measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse. Access is restricted to authorized personnel, and all providers with access to personal data are bound by confidentiality obligations.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to:

DATA PROTECTION AUTHORITY

If you believe your data protection rights have not been properly addressed, you may file a complaint with the Ministry of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance, the authority responsible for enforcing the LFPDPPP as of March 21, 2025.
